$5,000 scholarships!
(Total tuition after scholarship = $4,800)
In celebration of our tenth year providing Massage education, we are very pleased to once again be able to offer these scholarships to all students admitted to the program starting this March. These scholarships are part of our ongoing fight for social and economic justice. How can we afford to offer these huge scholarships? It's very simple. Because we are a small, independently owned school, we don't have the overhead and profit pressures of the larger corporate schools. We don't have highly paid executives, outside investors, or external corporate owners to pay dividends to. The owners of The Massage School are the main teachers and the administrators of the school. We care about the healing benefits of massage and have fought hard behind the scenes to keep it accessible to all people. In this era of high unemployment, our mission is more important than ever: to make the best massage education accessible for working people and single parents. We work extra hard to be able to offer these scholarships so you can spread healing to a world that needs it now more than ever.
Our Tenth Year
We started The Massage School 10 years ago with a simple idea - wouldn't it be great to build a massage school that taught modern massage technique, with a hands-on approach to learning, at an affordable price, and with a simple, practical, and flexible schedule. We are a mission-driven school, passionate about making massage available to people from all walks of life.
Compare our school with programs costing $12,000 or more. We designed our program to produce Massage Therapists with excellent technical skills. Our graduates are prepared to begin their professional career immediately upon licensure without any time necessary to "get up to speed". We have two campuses in Massachusetts: Easthampton and Acton. Our next class begins Monday, September 16th, 2013 in Acton and Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 in Easthampton.

Our mission is to provide outstanding massage education that is practical and affordable. We accomplish this through focused, hands-on training in modern massage technique.
Our school began operating in 2001. We opened as The Amherst School of Massage Therapy, in Amherst Massachusetts. In 2005 we moved to our current location in the historic Memorial Hall of Easthampton Massachusetts.
The Massage School was started by Alexei Levine, MPT, LMT, and Valerie Hood LMT, who recognized that there was a need for a professional certification program that emphasizes motor learning and technical proficiency.
The Massage School teaches the most powerful and effective massage techniques, while still maintaining affordable tuition. Recognizing that most massage therapy students have family and work commitments in addition to school, The Massage School offers flexible scheduling of class and clinic times.
Because our program emphasizes hands-on training, our graduates are fully prepared to begin practicing as professional massage therapists immediately upon their graduation and licensure.
