Beginning Class
The Beginning class is mostly hands-on with a small amount of “theory”, or anatomy and physiology. In the Beginning class you’ll learn a full body massage routine that combines the most salient elements of Swedish massage, trigger point work, Shiatsu, and physical therapy-style soft tissue mobilization. This massage routine is adaptable to many different purposes: sports massage (both pre- and post-event), pain relief, rehabilitative healing, activation of the autonomic nervous system, and generalized relaxation and recharging.
Easthampton Campus beginning class schedule:
· Day classes meet Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 5pm.
· Night classes meet Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 5pm.
Acton Campus beginning class schedule:
· Day classes meet Monday and Wednesday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 6pm.
· Night classes meet Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 6pm.
