Hey alexei, Valerie &/or anyone else reading this who may remember me...

i just wanted to drop a line and say massage is treating me quite well! i
am now an independent contractor licensed in los angeles and santa monica,
CA. i massage full time, doing 20 hours or so per week. many of my clients
include celebrities, writers, musicans and professional athletes. i
literally never know who is going to end up on my table...i tell people i
do the crazy thing (massage) in the crazy place (la)...but things have
been going great. it's amazing how good you can get when you really work
at it all the time. the people here are always interesting, for better or
worse...

so yeah, thanks for the education and the job @ people's massage which
was all a lead up to what i'm doing now. i am grateful for an easy work
week and an apartment near venice beach...

website looks great, hope the school is doing well
take care,

As a student, I am writing to discuss the amount of value received from The Massage School, that is, was I provided with the proper training so that I could confidently enter the massage world? For the massage discipline, value consists of knowledge of anatomy and physiology, proper body posture, differences in body types/ muscle densities, insurance, equipment, do's and don'ts, draping, lessons learned and dealing with the public. By far the two most critical elements of value are confidence and the ability to deliver a top shelf massage. The Massage School delivers all these elements of value in a direct, open, learn-by-doing approach, where instructors demonstrate their proven skills and help you to continually improve yours. The bottom line is that when you emerge from this program, you will be ready, all of your questions will have been answered, and you will enter your new career with confidence, knowing that you are going to succeed.

I love my teachers at The Massage School!! They are patient and funny and very passionate about what they do. They make learning fun and exciting. I always look forward to coming to class!

"The Massage School" has been one of the best experiences of my life. Both affordable and comprehensive, it offers an opportunity to learn a life-lasting skill in an atmosphere that is relaxed, fun, and community-oriented with teachers that have a sense of humor. Most importantly I have gained an understanding that massage is about taking who you are to the table and expressing it through touch, empathy, and love. It's about more than bones and muscles; it's about finding the human element we all have in common. I am extremely grateful for everything I have learned, and no other school could have done it better.

Thank you,

Sarah Knox

We opened our studio “It’s A Good Life Massage” shortly after completing our 500 hours at The Massage School (formerly Amherst School of Massage Therapy). Our success can be greatly attributed to this school and the great efforts of co-owners, Valerie and Alexei. We shared the same philosophy that massage should be affordable and accessible to everyone and we have been able to continue this philosophy as massage therapists that love what they do! Consider this school when you decide to begin a career in massage therapy!

The Massage School changed my life. They made it possible for me to leave my old job at the insurance company. My work as a massage therapist is far more satisfying and meaningful. I can make a difference in the health and lives of my clients while doing work that I love. I looked at the other schools in the area, but when i visited The Massage School, I knew they were the best. They were also the least expensive! I would recommend The massage School to anyone thinking of going into this wonderful profession.
